Theo Sowa African womens development fund –education is a longer term investment we wont see that investment for many years – so it’s a harder sell- but I think I we are really clear about the rights benefits it brings and about the economic imperative that it drives, about the social justice and change that it bring  then people really will decide to invest in education, we are at a time in the world when we have new technologies where we have incredible vision, where we have people with fantastic ideas who could really leverage change, we need to transform education so that it is fit for purpose so that our young people truly can develop to their full potential – this is a very special time, so the commission can build on that, I think that the commission can inspire governments, multilaterals , general populations into understanding what they can do to improve and transform education and potential for our young people – and the commission can also really demonstrate the how : what are the steps we need to take in order to change what is happening in the world because if we sit back and do nothing that there will be horrendous outcomes but we have a wonderful opportunity and I think the education commission can push those opportunities https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LORL1GS74TE
